- What you need to do: Use the O.X.R. Rifle to eliminate bug-type enemies (such as Swarmers or Bombers) from a distance greater than 10 meters. You need 10 such eliminations total (AltChar).
- This is part of the Season 4 Kickstart Quests, which are visible early in the season and net you XP per completion (AltChar).
Tips to Complete the Challenge
1. Ensure You’re Using the Correct Weapon
- Confirm you’re using the O.X.R. Rifle. It must be the standard variant—not an exotic or mythic version—for the quest to track properly (AltChar).
2. Maintain the Required Distance
- You must be more than 10 meters away from the bug when you eliminate it. Staying too close may not count toward the quest.
3. Target Appropriate Bugs
- Swarmers (common enemies), Bombers, and Queen-proxies are all valid targets—as long as the kill is beyond 10 meters.
4. Play in Bug-Dense Zones
- Locations like The Hive, Ranger’s Ruin, and other infested outposts offer abundant bugs to practice on (TechRadar, GamesRadar+, Celenic Earth Publications).
- These hotspots spawn multiple bugs quickly, giving you plenty of opportunities.
5. Stay Observant of the Kill Feed
- Monitor your eliminations closely. If some don’t register, double-check you’re using the correct weapon type and distance.
